In the last two years I have tried to master the patch table effect (see the large image). During this period I have worked and tried different materials. Both epoxy as well as timber. I have been able to reduce working time and increase the quality of the tables.
This has lead me to reduce the price of tables I am making. They come with an original Rudolf Wortmann certificate. With a unique number as well as information about the table and materials used. All timber I use can be traced back to Irish trees and on request I can supply a report of the exact place the tree once stood.

Kilmurry is a small area in the north of of Gorey township in county Wexford, Ireland. Wexford is a rural county, made up of hilly landscapes, coastal cliffs and sandy shores which is located in the sunny southeast of Ireland. This inspiring and relaxed region of Ireland continues to stimulate everything I make and do. It taught me the importance of creating timeless and functional furniture , that can be used in any home, wherever that may be.

At the moment I use any type of wood, steel and epoxy. Your design can include all or any mix. We source all our timber from local Irish trees. If you would like we can supply a tree certificate with each product, stating the tree spieces, calculated age, geographic location and when the tree was felled. Irish most common (native) trees include oak, ash, hazel, birch, Scots pine, rowan and willow. beech, sycamore, and fir have been introduced to Ireland. I use a lot of Irish wood, like Oak Beech, Elm and Chestnut and sycamore.I have different suppliers for our steel table legs and other furnishing accessories. Most of those suppliers are small The epoxy is sourced in Germany.
As One Of A Kind stands for a unique and high quality product. Each piece of timber is different, as is every mixed epoxy pour. The finish can be different as well. The timber, epoxy and the finish of the product has a specific influence on how your clock or table will look like.
I finish my projects with lacquers, oils, waxes or a combination of those. If you wish your wood to be stained then thats no problem either.

I moved from the Netherlands to Ireland in 1995. Over the years I have setteld in and have become more and more interested in creating furniture from local sourced material.
